Chemical composition of plants growing on gypsum

Plants growing on gypsum, both exclusive and non-exclusive, show physiological mechanisms to cope with the atypical composition of gypsum soils. We aim at identifying the main nutritional strategies of gypsum plants from different regions of the world and at exploring their relationship to the origin and evolution of gypsum plants.
